I’ve been trying to learn to play the guitar by reading tabs, Youtube and chords that I find mostly on the internet and books. ”20 years ago, I wrote a several songs. There are a few that I like very much. The trouble was that I could only play them on my electronic keyboard and then transpose the key up or down so that it was in the right key for me to sing along.
I wanted to know how play it on my guitar in the right key and sing while I was playing it, but I didn’t know how to get it into the right key. It was just more than I knew how to do!
Well, with what I learned in your lesson today, I figured it out and for the first time in 20 years, I got to play my favorite song (just now) on my guitar in the right key and sing along! I cried (and cried and cried)!! This huge barrier to a long-term goal is GONE!!
